The Forms are now available for completion for entry into season 20/21. As in previous years there are 2 forms, one for Club Registrations and one for Team Registrations. Each team needs a seperate entry form. Please note that these forms are for teams currently registered to the CLJFL. If you are not currently a member then you need to contact the League Secretary regarding entering a new club. The forms are located with the Forms tab.
Please note the deadline for registration is 7pm 31st May 2020. The forms will be removed after this date, and no more entries will be accepted.
The CLJFL would like to formally confirm the season 19/20 has been terminated with immediate effect
The league were given the following 2 options from the County FA on how to end the season..
1. Competitions are brought to an immediate end with results expunged (i.e. without promotion or relegation occurring).
2. League positions and promotions/relegation are resolved by a points per game calculation
The league committee were unanimous in their decision to take up option 1,
to expunge this seasons results, but still allowing the league to promote and relegate, as necessary as per league rule 2L, as the league would prior to the start of any season.
This decision allows us clarity to move forward with the plans for next season with an anticipated start date of 6th September (in-line with Government and health authority guidelines as the health and wellbeing the players and families has to be the absolute priority).
The league will still be holding the AGM on the 9th June and this will be via conference call to all clubs and further information will be sent out nearer to the date.
Please note that season 20/21 forms are now on the league website and need to be completed by the 31st May.
As you are all aware the league are losing 3 committee members after the end of this season (AGM) and we are still looking for new members to join the committee and help run the league, so please if you are interested then contact the league Chairman for any information as the league cannot run without a committee.
Please all look after yourselves, your families and children and lets hope we get back to playing football sooner rather than later.
Martin Hothersall (Chairman CLJFL) on behalf of the league committee
At the end of this season, we will see three of our committee members standing down. The CLJFL organises over 100 games per week for over 200 teams, and this organisation needs volunteers. Whilst the current committee will undertake a reshuffle to cover some of the key positions, we need people to join us and play a rewarding part in the organisation of the largest junior football league in Lancashire. If you feel that you would be interested in joining us then please contact a member of the committee for an informal discussion. Please dont sit back and think someone else will do it, we need help.
